Strategie anti invecchiamento: parte II
Se da un lato, come trattato nell’ultima newsletter, l’esercizio fisico si dimostra essere una delle frontiere più studiate nelle strategie anti-aging (ricordiamo l’importanza nella prevenzione della sarcopenia, dell’osteoporosi, delle malattie cardiovascolari e dei tumori) dall’altro anche il lato dell’alimentazione è al centro di numerose ricerche promettenti.
In particolare la restrizione calorica (CR) del 30-40% delle calorie giornaliere rispetto ai requisiti standard ha permesso nei trial con cavie animali (cani, ratti, vermi, mosche e primati) un aumento dell’aspettativa di vita dal 30% al 50% (lo so, non vi do mai buone notizie! :P).
